1-2: The LORD’s majestic reign

3-5: The floods testify to His might

This short psalm celebrates the LORD’s majestic reign from eternity past. The psalmist describes the lifting up of the floods and their loud sound – greater than the sound of many waters.

The testimonies of the LORD are fully confirmed as all creation witness to His majesty. The psalm concludes with an assertion that holiness is pleasing to the LORD’s house forevermore.

The LORD’s sovereignty over the earth is incontestable and testified to by all creation. Amen!
