Psalm 96
1-6: Sing the praises of the LORD to Him
7-10: Glorify and worship the LORD
11-13: Let all creation rejoice at His coming
This psalm calls for worship to the LORD, the fearsome and righteous Judge of all creation.
The first section calls for singing and declaration of His wonderful and awesome works. The second section calls for ascribing Him His due glory, with worship and offerings.
The third and final part calls for different parts of creation to sing His praise excitedly and joyfully as they look forward to His righteous and faithful judgment.
Let us sing praise to the LORD!
