Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved (ESV) – Psalm 55:22

If I cast my burden on the Lord, sharing my thoughts, concerns, and worries with Him rather than bearing them alone, He will sustain me. The cause for concern may not immediately depart, but the Lord will meet my needs, physically and spiritually. He will take the heavy load off me and give me rest. He will keep me in perfect peace and give me no reason to worry, doubt or fear.

The Lord will not allow me to be moved. He will secure me with his eternal anchor and provide the support I need for a stable emotional and spiritual life. Because I have put my trust in Him, he will make my well-being His priority. He will not allow me to be distressed. He will send me strength, help, joy, and comfort – everything I need for a life that brings honor and glory to His name.
