What do you do when the one you love, loves another?
Do you plead for love, or quietly nurse your pain?
Do you wait in hope, or just simply walk away?
Do you silently pray and wish the ache would just abate?
Or do you gather with friends and drink your sorrow away?
Even though it remains, soon as you wake again
What do you do, when your heart is set upon a lost cause?

Lovely poem here
Thank you! 😁
Hmmm….Let’s envisage this poem in light of God and man’s relationship. I believe the pain the lover expresses in this, is just a miniature of the passion of Christ. Lovely poem.
Interesting line of thought…God’s endless love always waits, arms outstretched, till the day we run into His embrace. His love is everlasting!
Lovely.
Silently pray and wish the ache would just abate.
Thank you!
So that would be your choice of action? I’ve seen it work sometimes…😉
