Much needed development. May we grow in righteousness by this effort.

Good evening sir. I just read “Travel Light.”

It so happens that at times one thing is being said, and I hear another. Sometimes related, sometimes not.

Reading “Travel Light” I heard, “What’s in front of you, do it. Set your eyes and mind on doing only what’s been set before you. Don’t go getting distracted by many many things – things you shouldn’t be doing.”

I suppose that could be a weight too; having so much plaging my attention that I hardly do what I’m MEANT to be doing.

Thank you for that piece sir. I’ll face the particular journey before me . . . at this particular point in time. Tis all I’m required to do. No need encumbering myself with many more tasks (and distractions).

      Good morning, Patience.

First of all, thank you for your comment, and for coming by the blog. I’m glad you found “Travel Light” helpful.

I am not surprised you “heard another thing”, as you put it. It does happen to us all at different times. And your take-away from that piece is very valid – the point of setting weights aside is so that we can focus on the journey ahead of us.

I wish you Godspeed and pray that the Lord will give you wisdom and strength to focus on the journey ahead of you. Have a blessed day!
