I look to my right
And You are not there
I turn to my left
And I can not find You
Your Light is not with me
Mere shadows terrify me
Your Voice is far too faint
My fears are loud and scary
I am surrounded by darkness
And submersed in the depths
Are You mindful of my sins still?
Do they persist before You?
Cover me with Your mercy
And forgive my grievous iniquity
Draw me near to Your presence
And let Your glory overshadow me
Turn Lord, and be merciful to me
That I may see Your great works
And proclaim Your faithful love
While I remain among the living
Let my days count for Your purpose
And my moments for Your praise
That all may see and give You thanks
For great is Your name in all the earth
