“A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy habitation. God sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity; But the rebellious dwell in a dry land. Psalms 68:5-6 NKJV

God is excited about the idea of families. He created families. He defends those who are disconnected from family for no fault of their own.

He seeks to place the lonely in families, so they can find comfort, strength, companionship, and support. He created us for community, for love.

Those who rebel against Him suffer the heat and thirst that comes from lacking a covering and help. They struggle alone just to get little results.

But those who listen to Him and find/stay in the right company: they renew their strength and the outcome of their efforts is multiplied.

So, who are your family? Where is your tribe? Who are your people? When God chose to place the lonely / solitary in families, “e get why”.

If today you feel like you are struggling alone or do not have “a family”, call out to God. He is the ultimate people connector. He’ll link you up!

None of us was made to be alone. All of us were made for community. We were made to give and receive, to bless and be blessed, to know and be known.

And if God has set you in a “family”, settle down and get known. Stop running from relationships. Listen and speak. Give and be open to receiving.

I pray that you will experience the blessing of connecting with people with whom you can navigate the highs and lows of this life. Shalom!

Life is all about people and Life is all about family.
One of the best gifts of God to humanity is the family unit.
    God bless our families.
